Island World

John Heyman co-founded Island World, an independent film production company, alongside Chris Blackwell. The company's output includes The Cure, a film released in 1995. Prior to establishing Island World, Heyman worked as a financier, while Blackwell had a background in music and production. As a financier, Heyman supported various film projects before collaborating with Blackwell to launch Island World. The partnership led to the creation of The Cure, which marked one of the company's notable achievements.
